This public  service film is an awareness on RTI a powerful tool that can be used to eradicate corruption. About how a common man can

use it to solve his own problems about getting a ration card , passport, electric meters, garbage issues etc and make a difference not only in his/her own life but can also contribute in creating good governance in the system by eradicating corruption.

I have used RTI extensively in my life and hence I decided to make a film on it. With the  power of RTI, I managed to catch the illegal major repairs of my Building and identified the Breach of Trust and Misappropriation of Funds that was going on in the Society . The BMC even penalized the Society's managing Committee for conducting illegal repairs and structurally damaging the building and imposed a fine of Rs 10 lakhs. The Registrar of Co Societies has take  cognizance of the matter for cheating members in lakhs of rupees. The procedures are going on. All this happened only
 through RTI.
I became an avid  user and filed nearly 100 RTI's in different departments in the State and Central Govt. Not only for my own issue but for friends , acquaintances and even unknown people I would meet at the Departments whom I would see trapped in a "vicious circle" of corruption and non governance.
Seeing the Power of One, through RTI I decided make an Animation Film on RTI the first ever as its also produced by the Govt of India focussing on issues of a common man and the need for him/her to use it to solve his/her problems through it.  I am also happy to share that I convinced the Govt to produce a film on RTI.
