When a commercial airliner is trapped within a ring of erupting volcanoes, the passengers and crew must find a way to survive - without landing. But when the relentless onslaught of lava put’s lives as risk, the people on the ground and the passengers on board have to come up with an escape route…

 

Review

Disaster flicks focused on people in airplanes have most often than not been thrilling joy rides full of excitement and tension. This one could have generated similar purchase if only the story and the treatment had some meeting points of scientific accuracy.

A plane flying over an ocean suddenly finds itself in the midst of outcropping lava emitting volcanoes. A far-fetched and totally unbelievable premise that just doesn’t get the justification in visuals it needs. The script is poor. The storyline too derivative, the characters are just outlines and the overall experience is simply unbelievable-in a negative way. Performance are poor. Even the lead actors fare poorly here. Every character is poorly defined. Narrative lacks thrills and the editing is far too choppy to be consistent. Scratchy effects, poor set design, ridiculous action and heavy melodrama making it tough going for the full runtime.
