Versatile Actor Pankaj Tripathi palys Damru ala Mauni BABA in GLOBAL BABA

Pankaj Tripathi one of the most talented actor who hails from small town in Bihar has made a name for himself in the Hindi film Industry. He has been doing stellar roles in films like Gangs of Wasseypur 1 & 2, Agneepath, Dabang 2, Fukery, ABCD 2, Manjhi, Masan, Dilwale etc.All the portrayals have left lasting & meaningful impact on the viewers.

Says Pankaj Tripathi “ Its not always about the length of the role but what kind of impact my character has in taking the narration forward. All the films that i have done recently has had lasting impression whether it’s Masan, Manjhi or Dilwale, or for that matter GOW 1 &2. These films have been appreciated. 

My next film Global Baba is up for release on 11th March and I have a very important role of Damru or Mauni baba in the film. My character plays a right hand man of Global Baba, Damru is instrumental in not only creating Global baba out of a runaway criminal but also responsible for the rise of the godman. He axles his growth, aspirations & wealth to the extent that his political aspirations get better of him, if Damru can create a monster of Global baba out of a petty criminal then he definitely knows how to clip his wings too. 

Pankaj Tripathi has essayed the character with his trademark ease be it his scenes with any artists. Ask him about his best scenes in the film that he enjoyed most and he is quick to add, " I think my maximum scenes are with abhimanyu but my scenes with Sandeepa are quite hilarious as I have an eye for her and in my peculiar lisp i keep following her. I ensure everyone else calls her global sister."

Global Baba is a social Satire on the making of these fake godmen who no one bothers check where they come from and what has been their back ground.

Film Global Baba directed by MAnoj Tewari is slated for release on 11^th March 2016. It has Abhimanyu singh palying Global Baba, Sandeepa Dhar playing TV reporter, ravi Kishen as Cop, Sanjay Mishra as the genuine guru and Akhilendra Mishra as DAllu Yadav the politician.
